Royal Air Force and served from 1995 to 2000 as a
Dental Officer. In 2000 he worked in the renowned
Carisbrooke Dental Practice and Implant Centre in
Leicester and from there moved to St Ann’s Dental
Clinic in Manchester in 2003.
Bob is fully committed to both continuing his own
professional personal development and providing
postgraduate education for other dentists. He is a
member of multiple dental societies in America and
the UK as well as Europe. As a well experienced and
respected lecturer Bob has lectured Nationally on
Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry whilst
contributing to the Restorative, Implant, Aesthetic and
Tooth Preparation Postgraduate Courses at St Ann’s
Dental Clinic. He is also a Clinical Opinion Leader with
the UK’s leading dental company, giving advice on the
clinical use of dental materials and tooth bleaching
techniques.
Bob is impassioned by the challenge of creating
beautiful smiles with both natural form and lasting
function, advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry
and particularly welcomes referrals from colleagues
for this type of treatment.
In addition to carrying out restorative dentistry to the
highest standard, Dr McLelland is particularly
interested with issues relating to TMJ or the
Tempromandibular Joint.
Patients can often suffer from a range of symptoms
such as headaches, jaw clenching or grinding of teeth
which can lead to wear and tear of teeth, general
facial pain and reduced quality of life. Frequently,
undiagnosed TMJ problems can occur as a result of
whiplash injuries following road traffic accidents.
In his spare time, Bob enjoys cycling, landscape
photography and hill walking along with a keen
interest in most sports, particularly football. |
